1959 Gibson Les Paul VOS
Well the Gibson Jimmy Page model was sold out so I acquired this beauty at the age of 21, I was fortunate to own one. Played like a dream. It roars like crazy and could sustain for days. This girl was purchased brand new in October of 07 which I paid about $6700 along with an amplifier. This is a non-chambered guitar. I never took off the VOS decal which is located on the pickguard nor have I ever opened any of the control cavities. This beauty is now being preserved. This is the real deal of all guitars.
Edwards Jimmy Page
This is the closest thing to the real Jimmy Page model. I had an opportunity to buy this and it plays really well. The weight feels like the real JP model which I had a chance to hold and not play “yet” Great neck feeling it’s between a 59/60 style. It’s 100% stock and the electronic are really unique. It’s wired like no guitar I’ve seen. It has the stock SH-1 neck and SH-5 in the bridge which are great pickups.
Marshall JPP Head----My Jimmy Page Amp
This is my custom made Marshall Jimmy Page Amp. It “was” a stock late 90’s 1987x but not anymore. I’ve had this modified 3 different times which now I’m pleased with I will not say much about it all I can say it’s been modded with KT88 power tubes and I know everyone will say Page didn’t make the power tube change until his later days etc… I don’t care what people think. Everything is a big sound wave to me all I have to do is make changes to match that sound wave. It’s hard for me to explain but there’s a lot of detail on JP’s tone you really have to pay close attention to it. I've could of bought 3 new heads for what I spend just on this one. ------FYI I use NO EFFECTS just the guitar plugged straight into the amp. NO EFFECTS!! I like things the old fashion way.
Marshall 1960BX Cab
This is an older 1960BX cabinet loaded with 4x12 25watt greenback Celestion speakers. Age is unknown. They do sound great for the JP tone but I think the G12H will nail it with my set up, currently I’m on the hunt for a vintage set. I’d say the vintage set will be the key. Purchase price $600 in 2008
